Family Dynasties and the US Presidency Considered in the Present Period

As we watch Senator Hillary Clinton run for president, one has to wonder if she makes it, it will be a first for our nation in many ways. She will be the nation’s first president and first First Lady to be President. Although George W. Bush is not the first son of a President to become President he served two terms and bettered his fathers record. We are democracy Republic not an aristocracy, nevertheless it is an intriguing thought; Family Dynasties and the US Presidency Considered in the Present Period.

For those who have socialist leanings, it kind of makes sense that they would look more favorably towards Hilary (BTW- is Hilary spelled with one “L” or two?). I wonder if some day Chelse might get into politics too? That would be interesting. Father-Mother-Daughter. Although I am not into Dynasties really, I could see that happening.

Indeed, I just as easily could see Jeb Bush coming in for a mid-term pendulum shift if and when the economy goes South on a Democrat in office due to raising taxes and over abundant expenditures on social programs, along with a military build up to match the Chinese build up (Cold War Syndrome). All this will be blamed on mistakes in foreign policy on the Democrats.

There are some converging issues in the future for sure. There are some Bush’s coming up too finished law school. Wonder if the Bush daughters might marry well too? You know this whole thing could go on for half a century or more. Presidential Dynasties?

You most of all I want to live in the Greatest Nation in the history of mankind during my lifetime and so I want the best qualified person to be the leader, if none exist it means I have to re-market myself and/or go find someone to lead the way. This nation is just too good and has way too much going for it to throw it all away.

We need to stop arguing politics and move this ball down the field to WIN! I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought.
